The DoD Grant Awards search interface contains a collection of publicly-searchable DoD research and non-research grants awarded since December 2014 – containing detailed project abstracts and insight into DoD funding allocations.

Benefits to DoD:

• Increase transparency/visibility on the types of DoD grant funding recipients (i.e. where the DoD is allocating funds)
• Increase visibility on focus-area priorities (i.e. what the DoD is funding)
• Fosters information sharing to encourage civic awareness, industry innovation, and the transfer of science/technology knowledge.
